Privacy Policy

What we collect, how we use it, and how to ask us to delete it.

Last updated: 2026-06-03.

Scope of this policy

This policy describes how Wiley Services handles information you provide through this website and during the course of an active job. We try to keep the description aligned with what we actually do — if you spot a gap, please tell us at 816-592-0583.

Information collected through this website

When you submit our contact form, the form passes your name, phone number, optional property address, urgency selection, topic, and message to the website owner. At this time the site does not store website inquiries in a database. The submission is delivered to the owner and is recoverable from hosting (Vercel) function logs for a short retention window defined by our hosting provider. We are working toward email delivery and a small inquiry log to make follow-up reliable; when that changes, this section will be updated.

This website does not run third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies. Basic server-side request logging is performed by our hosting provider for security and operations purposes.

Information collected during an active job

Once you become a customer, we collect what we need to do the work — typically your contact information, property address, a description of the loss, and (for insurance jobs) the carrier name, policy number, and claim number you provide. Photos and measurements of the property are part of the standard job file.

How we use information

Customer information is used to schedule inspections, write estimates, communicate about the job, coordinate with your insurance carrier and adjuster on the items we are repairing, and bill for completed work.

Who we share information with

We share your information only with the parties needed to complete your job: your insurance carrier and adjuster (with your authorization), the subcontractors performing portions of the work, and our accounting and tax professionals when records require their review.

We do not sell customer information. We do not share it for third-party marketing purposes.

Retention

Customer and job records are retained as required for tax, insurance, and warranty purposes — typically up to 7 years from the date of job completion, then destroyed. Website inquiries that do not become customers are retained only as long as our hosting provider's function-log retention window, which is short by default.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the customer information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where tax, insurance, or warranty retention does not require us to keep it). Reach us at 816-592-0583 or via the contact form. Note that for website inquiries that did not become customer jobs, we may have no record to provide because the site does not maintain a long-term inquiry database.

Questions

Questions about this policy or how we handle your information should be directed to Derick Wiley at 816-592-0583 or via the contact form.

This policy is provided for informational purposes. It will be reviewed periodically and updated when our data-handling practices change.
