Local crews. Local code. Same address next year and the year after.
Out-of-state storm chasers are only as good as they are still in your area. We're not going anywhere — and we know what wind and hail do to a Missouri roof.
From damage to coverage.

Soft-metal damage is the one most contractors miss.
Hail bruises soft metals — gutters, downspouts, flashings, ridge vents, and the ventilation system on the roof itself. Those bruises don't look like a problem on day one, but they create leaks at the ventilation system that show up months or years later.
We document every soft-metal hit on the inspection report so it's in the scope from day one — not added as a supplement after the damage shows up.
- Shingle hail strikes. Granule loss, mat fracture, bruising.
- Soft-metal damage. Gutters, downspouts, flashings, vents, A/C condenser fins.
- Wind damage. Lifted, creased, or missing shingles. Underlayment exposure.
- Ventilation system. Damaged ridge and box vents lead to attic leaks.
- Interior. Ceiling stains, drywall damage, insulation saturation from leaks.
When to expect damage.
Spring to Fall
Standard storm season. Hail, straight-line winds, tornadoes, and the bulk of property damage in the Midwest. If you hear hail, schedule the inspection — visible damage and policy damage often diverge.
Winter
Ice damming, gutter ice, downed trees, and freeze-related roof leaks. Insulation and ventilation issues become visible once snow sits on the deck.
You pick the contractor. Not the insurance carrier.
In Missouri, the homeowner has the right to choose their contractor for storm and roof claims — unlessyou've signed an endorsement on your policy to save money that restricts that choice. We recommend you contact your insurance agent and review the policy before assuming either way.
And a hard line we hold: anyone willing to waive your deductible is breaking the law. That's insurance fraud. If they're willing to break the law to win the job, what other rules will they not follow on your property? Walk away.
