Discretion. Credentialed partners. Properly handled waste.
Trauma-scene remediation, post-incident blood cleanup, and bathroom decontamination with possible bloodborne-pathogen exposure. Wiley Services coordinates this work; the on-scene cleanup is performed by credentialed biohazard subcontractor partners (IICRC TCST / ABRA) operating under documented OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 exposure-control programs.
What we coordinate.
Service lines
- Trauma-scene remediation. Compassionate, discreet remediation following a suicide, accident, or unattended death. We coordinate with property owners and law enforcement as needed.
- Blood and bodily-fluid cleanup. Performed under bloodborne-pathogen protocol by credentialed partner technicians.
- Bathroom decontamination. Including incidents with potential fentanyl exposure. Surfaces tested and decontaminated to safe-occupancy standards.
- Law-enforcement coordination. When a scene remains under investigation, work begins only after release by the investigating agency.
Partner credentials & protocol
- IICRC TCST / ABRA. Trauma & Crime Scene Technician credential held by our partner biohazard technicians.
- OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030. Partner technicians operate under written Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plans with current training and hepatitis-B vaccination records.
- PPE. Full PPE including respirators, suits, double gloves, and eye protection — supplied and donned per the partner's ECP.
- Waste handling. Regulated medical waste manifested and transported by MO DNR-registered haulers in compliance with 10 CSR 80-7 and 49 CFR 173.196.
- Wiley Services role. We are the homeowner's single point of contact — scheduling, coordinating with insurance documentation, and managing any post-cleanup reconstruction.
What we do not do.
We do not handle drug-lab or meth-lab decontamination. The liability and regulatory exposure on that work is something we've chosen to step away from. If you need that work, we can refer you to a specialist who carries the correct insurance and certifications.
We do handle bathroom and residential cleanups where fentanyl exposure is suspected — those incidents are different in scope and protocol from a manufacturing scene and are within our certified capability.
Discretion first.
- 01First call. Direct to Derick. We talk through what happened, who needs to know, and how to keep the response quiet.
- 02Arrival. Unmarked vehicles when requested. We coordinate with law enforcement if a scene is still under investigation.
- 03Family coordination. We talk through every step with the family or property representative. Nothing happens until you're ready.
- 04Remediation. Containment, removal, surface decontamination, and deodorization performed by the credentialed partner crew. Documented for the file and, with your authorization, for the carrier.
- 05Waste disposal. All regulated medical waste manifested and transported by an MO DNR-registered hauler in compliance with federal and state law.
- 06Reconstruction. Any structural repair, flooring, paint, or finish work needed to return the space to safe occupancy.
